The Quebec Society for Disabled Children offers direct and professional services which support the personnal development of children with disabilities and their integration in the community. To reach that goal, our various services employ impassioned people who care about the wellbeing of the children entrusted to them.
Camp Papillon, Residence and Auberge Papillon and Jardin des Papillons seek in the community students and professionnals who share an interest for children with disabilities and wish to live a stimulative work experience in a cordial and human environment.
Are you looking for a unique challenge for the summer? Join the Camp Papillon team! Camp Papillon hosts close to 700 campers every summer and the Camp team is comprised of some 200 staff members. Counsellors, specialists, nurses, support personnel, night watch persons, numerous positions are available every summer.
To apply for one of these positions for the summer 2012 season, you must fill out the Camp Papillon employment form. When we receive your form, we will contact you to schedule an interview. Since our recruiting period begins in January, we suggest that you send your request at that period of the year.

Residence and Auberge Papillon are seeking energetic and responsible students in the community who share an interest for children with disabilities and who have experience working in this field.
Some 200 families entrust to the Residence and Auberge Papillon their most valuable treasure, a large piece of their heart and of their life, their disabled child. Our counsellors know how to combine great professionalism with uncommonly gentle eccentricity and offer to the youngsters who stay at the Residence and Auberge a warm, reassuring and stimulating environment.
The work of the counsellors is simple: to accompany the youngsters in their everyday life by offering high quality physical care, a constant presence and a touch of magic throughout the activities and daily animation which make the Residence and Auberge Papillon a unique welcoming place for children with disabilities.

The Jardin des Papillons offers to youngsters and to their parents, essential resources to favour the motor and intellectual development of the child and to facilitate integration in society. Consequently, the Jardin des Papillons is seeking experienced professionals who have organisational and communication skills and who share an interest in children with disabilities.
Candidates to a position of educator at Jardin des Papillons must meet these criteria :
* To have a DEC or a BACC in specialised education or in psychoeducation, or any other professional training directly related to children with disabilities.
* To have completed a first-aid course and have a valid card.
* To have a minimum of two years’ experience with children with an intellectual disability or with multi-disabled children.
